How Verses Began
Verses was born from co-founder Brandon Scalera’s personal journey through chronic illness. After years of failed treatments and searching for answers, true healing came when God led him to renew his mind through His Word. That breakthrough became the foundation of Verses—a brand created to help others refine their lifestyles through faith, simplicity, and purpose.
Brandon wasn’t alone. Co-founders Bryan Quackenbush, Michael Crowley, and Tom Gurba each faced their own battles, and through God’s timing, came together to build something greater than themselves.
Verses is more than a brand—it’s a movement. Our minimal design reflects our mission: cut the noise, focus on truth, and live with intention. Every product is rooted in scripture, inviting all—Christian or not—to encounter the power of God’s Word in everyday life.

I washed my clothing incorrectly. Can I fix it?
If your Verses apparel develops wrinkles or creases in the printed design due to improper washing or drying, you can often restore it at home with the following steps:
For T-Shirts:
1. Prepare the Iron: Set your iron to high heat without steam.
2. Turn Inside Out: Flip the shirt so the printed area faces inward.
3. Iron the Design: Place the shirt on a flat surface and iron over the area behind the print for 5-15 seconds with moderate pressure.
4. Check and Repeat: Turn the shirt right-side out to inspect. If wrinkles persist, repeat as needed.
For Hoodies and Jackets:
1. Prepare the Iron: Set your iron to high heat without steam.
2. Protect the Print: Place a thin cotton cloth over the printed area.
3. Iron the Design: With the garment right-side out, iron over the cloth covering the print for 5-15 seconds with moderate pressure.
4. Check and Repeat: Lift the cloth to inspect. If wrinkles remain, repeat as necessary.
To prevent future wrinkles, always wash in cold water and tumble dry low or air dry.
