“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” - Jeremiah 29:11. God has a plan. It’s not always easy to see. Sometimes we have questions; sometimes we think we have answers. But God wants you to prosper. He wants you to succeed.
If God is for us, then who could be against us? The point here is that we must see new opportunities and pray about which way we should go. God always has a way and a reason. In seasons of crushing, let God mold your heart. In seasons of joy, let God hear your praise. In seasons of sadness, let God hear your lament. In seasons of worry, let God hear your prayer.
Even with Job, God took so much away, yet He had a plan to restore him and give him more than he ever dreamed. What if our prayers were simply, "God, I trust You. Help me follow Your will"?
God is sovereign, omnipotent, and omnipresent. In Christ, you are His child, and His plans and ways are higher than ours, greater than ours, more fulfilling than ours. If we got everything we wanted, we could never hold it all. God is meticulous and gives us the right things at the right times.
If we listen and believe in the words of Jeremiah, we will see that no matter what is happening to us or in the world, God cares deeply about you and your needs. Trust Him. He has a plan. Always.
